Minimum Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field


Desired Experience and Skills

  • Sound technical capabilities, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Desire to work hard and produce high quality designs
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software
  • Work in a team environment as well as the ability to work independently
  • Ability to quickly learn new programs to perform other planning and design tasks


Expectations of Duties

Candidates will collaborate with TENW’s planning and design teams on various private development and public projects and work directly for each team’s project manager. They will manage multiple tasks working with teams and exhibit strong communication skills in technical writing. Project duties will include the following: 


Planning – analyzing intersections, roadways, and parking demand; preparing traffic impact studies and conducting field reconnaissance to capture multi-modal conditions


Design – preparing plans, specifications, cost estimates, schedules, and permit applications for projects; assisting in construction administration duties including site visits, construction coordination meetings, and inspections

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification
  • 3+ years experience in transportation or civil engineering field

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD

Expectations of Duties
The candidate will work directly for the Design Manager on various private and public projects. Duties will include general project oversight, including client interface and management of schedule and budgets. The candidate will oversee technical staff and review plans, specifications, cost estimates, schedules, and permit applications for projects. The candidate will also assist in performing construction administration duties including site visits, construction coordination meetings, and inspections
